Terms & Conditions

Primrose Dog Field; a safe space created by us to let your four-legged friends run free. In booking our dog field, you and any of your guests attending with you agree to abide by our terms as detailed below. Primrose Dog Field accept no liability for any injury or damage caused to person, animal or property whilst using this facility within the perimeters of the intended use or otherwise. We reserve the right to amend our terms of booking at any time.

Primrose Dog Field aims to provide a fun and safe environment at our field. By using our facilities, you agree to the following Terms of Use.

Your booking


• Bookings are non-refundable if cancelled less than 24 hours before session is due to start.   A full refund will be issued if cancelled 24 hours or more. 
• You will receive a booking email confirmation and then a gate code email 1 hour before booking.  This code is required to enter the field.
• The time slot for your booking includes exiting the fields and parking areas. Please ensure that you have exited the parking area by the time your booking ends to allow the next user to enter at the start of their timeslot.

 

Terms and Conditions

1. Assumption of Risk

Use of the field is entirely at your own risk. Primrose Dog Field accepts no liability for the death or injury of any person or dog, or for damage to any property. We also accept no liability for any losses, claims, actions, damages, costs, expenses, or other liabilities incurred while onsite. Vehicles and their contents are left at the owner's risk. Your behaviour and that of your dogs are your sole responsibility, and no claims can be made against Primrose Dog Field.

2. Liability for Damages

You are liable for any damage caused inside and outside of the fields by you, your dog(s), or any person in your party.

3. Noise Considerations

Please be considerate of others, no loud noises, music etc

4. Purpose of Use

The fields are intended solely for dog exercise and are not recreational areas for other activities. Please assess the suitability for your own dog. While we make every effort to maintain the fields, please note that they may be muddy, the ground uneven, and there may be brambles and thorns, as is common in rural settings. Users must inspect the fields to ensure they are suitable for their dog(s), including fence height and other conditions.

5. Registration and Vaccinations

Each visitor using the fields must have registered dogs must be up to date with vaccinations. Registration is for a single household only. Friends or family from another household who wish to use the fields must also register separately.

6. Arrival and Departure Procedures

  • Wait in Your Vehicle: If you arrive early, please wait in your vehicle in the designated waiting area, ensuring the dog field gate is left clear. The previous session will vacate the dog field and is expected to lock the gate behind them before leaving, even if someone is waiting for the next session. This ensures that only authorized individuals with the code can gain access.
     

  • Parking: Park your vehicle inside the main gate during your allocated session time in the onsite car park.
     

  • Entering the Field: Once the previous appointment has left, you may enter the car park. Ensure the outer gate is shut and padlocked before taking your dogs out of the vehicle.  keep your dog on a lead until you are in the enclosed field and the internal gate is closed behind you.
     

  • Late Departures: If the previous appointment is still in the field when your booking starts, please inform us immediately. Never enter the enclosed field while someone else is in it. There is a padlock to lock yourself in to prevent anyone from entering during your session. 
     

  • Locking Up: Upon leaving, please always lock the gate to the field.  This ensures that only authorized users can access the facility. Never divulge your passcode to anyone.
     

7. Field Rules

  • Clean Up After Your Dog: Pick up all dog waste. Failure to do so may result in refusal of future use. Please bring your own poo bags and dispose of waste in the designated bins provided.  (Poo bags are provided if you do forget) Note that these bins are for dog waste only; all other waste, including damaged toys, should be taken with you.
     

  • Leash Requirements: Do not exercise your dog outside the secure field areas. Dogs must be kept on leads until safely inside the secure field boundary. 

  • Gate Closure: Ensure the field gate is closed and locked  immediately upon entering and leaving the field.
     

  • Equipment Use: Please do not climb on any gates, fences, posts or dog agility equipment at any time. Dog agility equipment is for dog use only and is used at your own risk. Please wear sensible footwear as the field can be uneven in places.
     

  • Although we inspect the field and fences regularly, holes or other damage to the fence may occur from time to time. We cannot take responsibility for any dog escaping. Do not allow your dog(s) to dig in any part of the field. Please notify Primrose Dog Field immediately if your dog causes any damage or you notice any damage to the field, fences or equipment.

8. Health and Welfare

Dogs must be up-to-date with vaccinations.

Do not bring your dog to the fields if they or any other pets in your household have been unwell in the last 48 hours, as this could be harmful to other dogs.

Harsh handling of dogs, either verbal or physical, is not permitted.

Never leave dogs unattended in the fields, and no dogs should be left in vehicles while you walk other dogs in the field.

9. Professionals

To ensure safety and security standards, dog trainers working with their clients will only be allowed by prior arrangement. If you book the field for business purposes i.e. dog walking services or training classes, you must have public liability insurance to cover your business activities and be able to provide proof of this if asked for on booking

10. Cancellations and Amendments

  • Late Arrivals: No extension is allowed for late arrival to the field.
     

  • No-Shows: No refunds are given for no-shows to session bookings.
     

  • Cancellations and Amendments: Must be made 24 hours in advance of the scheduled booking to qualify for a refund. 

We reserve the right to close the fields at any time, for which a full refund will be given. Cancellation will be notified to the field user/booker.

Banned Breeds

As we are a private space that is fully secured and able to be locked you are can book to walk in our field

Good field practice must be adhered to including locking the gate  before your dog is released from your vehicle

Your dog is not to be out of the vehicle while waiting to enter the field

You must make sure you leave the paddock within your booked time to ensure no cross over with arriving customers

You must be able to show a certificate of exemption if requested

You must only use the field with dogs from your household

You must have third party liability insurance

Gov.co.uk Rules-

  • To keep an XL Bully dog it must be:

  • microchipped

  • kept on a lead and muzzled at all times when in public

  • kept in a secure place so it cannot escape

  • neutered

  • As the owner, you must also:

  • be over 16 years old

  • take out third party public liability insurance against your dog injuring other people

  • be able to show the Certificate of Exemption when asked by a police officer or a council dog warden, either at the time or within 5 days.
